Apart from personal sports equipment and working from home items, the month of March saw shoppers on Amazon looking for offline entertainment, face masks, hand sanitizers, and toilet paper.

The search for computer monitors, keyboards, webcams, and other accessories had spiked with the demand for working at home equipment. Since staying at home also means exercises in or around the house, buyers are seeking yoga mats, dumbbells, and resistance bands. Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Sony PS4 gaming consoles have exhibited equal desirability with board games and puzzles for home entertainment.

Widening gaps between supply and demand has been shown by the persistence of consumers continuing to look for out of stock items. Essentials such as hand sanitizers, N-95 facemasks, thermometers, and paper towels, have not decreased in demand, despite having any results with  prime shipping.

Coronavirus Dominates Amazon Search
In March, most shoppers on Amazon looked for toilet paper, face masks, hand sanitizers, and other essentials, as well as items for working from home, at home sports equipment, and offline entertainment. However, most of the in-demand searches returned no items in stock.
